  Pulsatilla \Pul`sa*til"la\, n. [NL.] (Bot.)
     A genus of ranunculaceous herbs including the pasque flower.
     {Anemone">This genus is now merged in {Anemone. Some species, as
     Anemone Pulsatilla, Anemone pratensis, and Anemone
     patens, are used medicinally.

     1. (Bot.) A genus of plants of the Ranunculus or Crowfoot
