     superl. Sleekest.] [OE. slik; akin to Icel. sl[imac]kr, and
     OE. sliken to glide, slide, G. schleichen, OHG. sl[imac]hhan,
     D. slik, slijk, mud, slime, and E. slink. Cf. Slick,
